Mission
We provide an environment for students to discuss LGBTQ+ topics and issues, share resources and advice with one another, and promote an attitude of acceptance and appreciation.

- Up North Pride works to foster inclusive spaces by providing education and resources, inspiring activism and advocacy, and producing community-focused 2SLGBTQIA+ programs and events.
State Resources:
- Equality Michigan (EQMI) is Michigan’s statewide lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) political advocacy organization.
- Stand with Trans empowers and supports transgender youth and their loved ones.
- The ACLU of Michigan works to protect civil rights and help Michiganders understand their rights.
National Resources:
- The Human Rights Campaign is the largest LGBTQ advocacy group and LGBTQ political lobbying organization in the United States.
- The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) young people.
