Archives

The ҹèÊÓƵ Archives preserves the history of the college in organized and accessible form. Pictures, posters, scrapbooks, yearbooks, meeting minutes, documents and memorabilia pertaining to the policies, activities and history of the college and its students are available for research.

The ҹèÊÓƵ Archives strives to provide adequate facilities for the retention and preservation of official college records and to promote knowledge and understanding of the origins, aims, programs and goals of the College. It provides information services that will assist the operation of the College in addition to serving research and scholarship by making available and encouraging use of its collection by members of the College and the community at large.

For the security and preservation of the collection, there is no public access to the archives room itself. Access to archival materials is by appointment only. Researchers may request access to materials under supervision of an ҹèÊÓƵ librarian or archivist, or request copies to be sent digitally or through the mail.

Some specific collections, such as those containing documents involving attorney-client privilege, are not available for public viewing. The use of certain documents may be restricted by statute, the office of origin or donor. The ҹèÊÓƵ Archives also reserves the right to restrict the use of unprocessed materials and materials of exceptional value or fragility.

Use the buttons below to browse digitized material from the ҹèÊÓƵ Archives (e.g. historical issues of the Nor'wester or White Pine Press) or to request archival materials not available in the digital repository. Requests for assistance requiring extensive research assistance require the approval of the Director of Library Services.
